A Great Weekend For Sporting Profits, Jun 21/22 2008
June 25th 2008 21:44
Saturday June 21st and Sunday June 22nd 2008 saw a vast array of big sporting events each one of them giving opportunity to make online profits...
I love that fact that I can make money writing about sport, because I love watching sport - I always have done, I was brought up watching it on TV.
Yes, it turned me into telly addict, but at least I now know how to profit from it!
This weekend has seen a load of events...
2 quarter finals at soccer's Euro 2008.
Royal Ascot horse racing.
The French Grand Prix motor racing.
International cricket.
International test rugby union.
International athletics.
Amir Khan boxing.
That's quite a list, and all of then have big following around the world, and a big following means profit potential, as you have a ready made marketplace.
You know who to target, and you know what to give them.
Maybe it's access to cheap tickets - you can set up an affiliate site.
The affiliate site also works for equipment for the people that play rather than watch the sports.
Maybe you could set up a sporting blog, either for each individual sport, or a general one.
You can then monetise that blog with various advertising methods.
Or you could go for the technique I use, which is to provide information to the fans on how to make some extra income, which they would no doubt love to spend on their hobby!
Yes indeed, the middle of summer always has the sporting events packed in the schedule, and for those that know the techniques, it's profit on the table waiting to be picked up
