Asshat Of The Week---Weusi McGowan
November 1st 2009 13:21
(AP) SAN DIEGO - A man who sneaked a bag of his feces into a San Diego courtroom during his home-invasion robbery trial, smeared it on his lawyer and threw it at jurors has been sentenced to 31 years in prison.
Superior Court Judge Frank Brown on Monday sentenced Weusi McGowan for robbery, burglary and two assault charges stemming from the feces-flinging incident during his January trial.
McGowan, who attorneys say suffers from mental illness, had asked for a mistrial because he believed jurors had seen him in restraints when he entered the courtroom.
Several days after his request was denied, McGowan pulled out a bag of excrement he had hidden in his clothing, rubbed it on his lawyer and tossed it at the jury.
Now, if I had started TCFB back in January or before then, you can be sure that my feces flingin' friend here would have been honored back then as more of a 'current' Asshat Award recipient. However, when I started doling out this prestigious award a few months ago, I noted that even though it's called 'Asshat of the WEEK' that it doesn't necessarily have to be from the current week. It can go back as far as I'd like it too. I just need to 'find out' about it during the current week. Seeing that I just found out about this jag-off being sentenced for 31 years, he's being honored now. Tip your cap, dink. Let me say this as well... If I'm getting actual human shit thrown at me while I'm on jury duty, I swear to the good God above, that courtroom better have had the best security/police officers known to man, because I'm going after that moron with the worst of intentions and I will punch him in the face. They can arrest me, pull out the hit stick on me and give me a beating or whatever they like, but I will get mine, for having shit thrown on my person by another so called human being. That aside, this is a little something we like to call 'Asshat Justice'. See you in a couple/three decades feces boy. Holla!
