Your Average JoeCasey Kelly Thanks TCFB For His #14 Ranking In SI List Of Top 20 MLB Prospects

I was checking out John Manuel’s piece in Sports Illustrated on the Top 20 prospects in MLB and found Red Sox pitching prospect, Casey Kelly, sitting pretty in the #14 spot on the list. Manuel compared his ‘athletic ability and innate pitchability’ to that of Cy Young Award winner, Zack Greinke, although he said Kelly doesn’t quite have the arm strength of Greinke.
Kelly shot me a text last night and told me that the check is in the mail for the nice puff piece I wrote about him on TCFB. Much appreciated C-Kell, let me know when you’re in town and Smitty & I will meet you for a beer or two. He’s anxious to take you under his wing and show you a thing or two about the women of Beantown, like he tried to show me years ago. He’s terrible kid. Anything he says, do the exact opposite and you’ll be ok.
