Steve Carlton (Philadelphia Phillies) recorded his 100th strikeout for the 18th consecutive season. (1984)

Happy Birthday to the following people. If any of you are dead now & I missed the news, I apologize. I'm trying to be nice here.....

Happy 39th to Olympic Gold winning figure skater, Kristi Yamaguchi.

& for my "non-sports" birthday wishes.....
