Revis: Probably say slouch, too.

I mean, I’m sorry once again to my fellow fans of Patriot Nation, but I agree with Revis on this one.
I’ve written on Revis before on TCFB and I love this kid’s game. He reminds me of a young Ty Law, with better man to man coverage skills.
Let me be clear, I think Randy Moss is one of the best receivers in NFL history. I can not and will not deny that fact. However, when I see the likes of Larry Fitzgerald, Sidney Rice, Reggie Wayne, and Marques Colston all busting their asses to get open and FIGHTING to get through double coverage (yes, they get double coverage thrown on them too Randy) during these NFL Playoffs, it just drives the point home even harder that Revis is right when he describes Randy. He is in fact a slouch.
None of this is any surprise to me, to be honest. His reputation preceded him when he came to New England. He was a great receiver when he could outrun his single coverage or in some cases his double coverage but when he got smacked in the mouth or when things weren’t going his way and he had to fight tooth and nail, he backed down. Why is it that whenever these types of players come to New England, everybody wipes their resumes clean and acts like the past never happened?
Revis is arrogant for saying this? Why? He praised Ochodinko, Steve Smith and Andre Johnson in the same Q & A with Sanders. Is it just because he picked on Randy? And he’s right?
