Gee… I Must’ve Missed This Tiger Woods Buddhist Bracelet Charade On Golf Channel

(From Chicago Breaking Sports News )
The religious bracelet on Tiger Woods' left arm during his brief television interviews is a fairly common symbol of Buddhism, experts on the faith say.
The two thin bands encircling Woods' wrist came up Sunday, near the end of his interview with Golf Channel reporter Kelly Tilghman. Woods also spoke to ESPN. The interviews were his first since Woods' serial infidelity became known late last year and he began undergoing therapy.
Tilghman said she noticed the bracelet and asked what it meant.
"It's Buddhist," Woods said, referring to his childhood faith. "It's for protection and strength. And I certainly need that."
I must’ve turned off the interview prematurely and missed the best part…
First off, let’s get one thing straight here…
Before this interview even took place with Prince Woodstick, it was plainly put, “yes you can ask me what the bracelet I’m wearing means. Please do. Preferably toward the end.”
Tiger controls everything around him outside of his funstick and you’re not just allowed to ask him whatever you feel like when you speak to him on TV. Even the so called hard hitters like, “why did you get married”, were all perused by the Woods camp and OK’d.
That being said, can you just go play golf now, Prince? If you’re a reformed Buddhist now, great. Glad to see you’re receiving protection and strength from your Dalai Lama bracelet.
No need to ask Kelly Tilghman from the Golf Channel to ask you about the prop on your wrist. It’s all good. You and the Dalai Lama had a hot dog and a couple of brewskis in some remote location and he gave you a bracelet for protection before you tee off at Augusta National.
Now go hit ‘em straight, kid.
