One of the highlights of his career occurred in 1991, when he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest with a "no-look" slam dunk.

Man, I remember being 15 years old and over my buddy David’s house getting ready to watch that NBA slam dunk contest back in ’91. Good times! Dee was a rookie in ’91 and nobody really expected him to make any noise in that dunk contest. Then came the ‘pump up my Reebok’s/ Cover my eyes with my forearm..no look dunk!’ DeCovan wins! DeCovan wins!
There were high expectations for Brown in Beantown, but it never fully panned out. He was a solid basketball player, but people expected him to be so much more than that.
His best season as a Celtic was probably the 1993-94 season when he averaged 15.5 points/ 4.5 assists/ 2.0 steals.
Last I could find, Dee was named the Head Coach of the Springfield Armor, in Springfield, MA. They are an NBA Developmental League team.
