Teachers at a Bronx school are being portrayed as dunces for letting students play dodgeball with hard soccer balls in a crowded gym - leaving left one kid with busted teeth.
The city offered 12-year-old Shane Reese $20,000 Monday to head off a lawsuit stemming from a head shot he took in the crazy game last year at Intermediate School 219.
What in EFFIN God’s name is going on in NY? I thought you guys were ‘gangsta’ up in the Five Boroughs? That’s now two of the Five Boroughs in recent memory that have had kids/parents act like complete pussies. Junior gets smacked in the face with a Dodgeball because he has his head up his ass on the sidelines in gym class and NYC offers the parents $20K to make this lawsuit go away? Jesus, I’m sorry Ma and Dad, I would’ve taken one in the kisser for you if I knew that back in the day I could’ve made you a quick $20K! I would love a steel cage dodgeball matchup with this kids parents. I would own their asses for this stunt. Not to mention, what does this do to this dumbass kid’s ‘street cred’ at school? ‘Hey guys, my Mommy and Daddy got $20K from the city because I’m a sissy ass bastard who took a ball off my kisser in gym class… don’t you guys think I’m the man?’ This is supposed to be the Bronx? This brings me back to thinking about that case in Staten Island a few years back where the kid hurt himself sliding in Little League and his parents blamed the coaches. The New Springfield Little League settled with the mother of the clumsy ass kid, for $125K because of ‘negligent coaching.’ How bout this Mommy… Your kid should be home drawing and playing with his Easy Bake Oven instead of playing baseball. First Staten Island, now the Bronx.. Which of the Five Boroughs is going to embarrass themselves next?
