'Joe' was trying to hook up with this bartender in Arizona for the longest time, and finally on the weekend when he thought he had it 'in the bag', Luke Walton got in the way....Check it out below from Deadspin.
Little did we know, that a former University of Arizona basketball player was in town getting married that weekend and so was about half the former team that starred Luke Walton and Richard Jefferson. As I was sitting outside the bars with Joe, consoling him for being a no-pu**y getting loser, we see his girl walking right down the middle of the main strip of bars, holding hands with Luke Walton walking into his hotel room. Needless to say, he got out hustled.
Not to make this story any worse for our friend Joe, but I have a friend of a friend of a friend who told me how this little fiasco really went down when Luke brought the PYT to ‘his’ room & it will make poor Joe feel even worse.
It wasn’t ‘his’ room, Joe. It was Daddy Long Legs Bill Walton’s room. Luke takes Dad on the ‘A-list’ trips as sort of a payback for all of his father’s help and guidance with his hoop game throughout the years.
Picture this, Joe…I know, it hurts even more.. but this is how it went down….
Luke takes the PYT bartender to ‘his’ room and not only does she find out it’s not ‘his’ room, but when the door opens, there’s Daddy Walton sprawled out on the bed with a spleef in between his lips, shades covering his bloodshot eyes and a Grateful Dead tie-dye bandana wrapped around his dome. He has a little Dear Mr. Fantasy playing on the stereo and a little Touch of Grey queued up behind it.
