Michael Irvin Wishes He & The 'Boys Went 19-0
December 17th 2009 18:13
So Michael Irvin said this week (when talking about the Colts & Saints both trying to go undefeated this year) that he’d prefer to go 19-0 than be a 3-time Super Bowl Champion. Irvin has 3 rings from his days with the Cowboys that he said he’d give up for a chance to be 19-0.
"I’d give them all back for perfection. Being the best for a season (Super Bowl champ) is great but being one of the greatest of all-time is something else."
Now don’t get me wrong here… I don’t claim to be any Mensa Member with the best IQ around town nor do I claim to be Will Hunting. I do feel, however, that I could whip Vince Young’s ass in the Wonderlic Test if given the opportunity, but that’s neither here nor there at this juncture. Here’s what I do not comprehend on this story with Irvin…..Correct me if I’m wrong, but if you go 19 and EFFIN 0, wouldn’t you win the Super Bowl anyway? According to my primitive math skills, that would be an affirmative. No sacrifice needed Mike, you get to have your cake and eat it too, right my man?
19-0 = Super Bowl Champion

You have your SB trophy and rings taken away from you for illegally videotaping the opposing team's practice and defensive signals from the field.
