My man, Dexter McCluster out of Ole Miss, lit it up at the combine over the weekend. People are calling him the ‘new breed running back/receiver/returner’ and comparing him to Percy Harvin of the Vikings. Check out what NFLDraftScout.com senior analyst, Rob Rang, had to say about him and a potential suitor for his services in USA Today. Here’s a piece of it below…
"I believe he's a second- or third-rounder," said Rang. "He'd be there in the second round for the Patriots. He'd make a lot of sense for them because he'd give them a dimension they don't have. Bill Belichick makes perfect sense for using a versatile playmaker like him."
I’m not one to brag (well ok, maybe sometimes) but for all you loyal TCFB readers out there, do you think I missed my calling as an NFL Scout? If you recall, I wrote a little piece on ole Dexter back in January, saying that I thought he’d be a great option for the Pats. Just sayin’!

Reminder to self: Drafting running backs above the third round is like giving money to the homeless. Sure it makes you feel good momentarily but then when you see them peeing on the sidewalk you want to beat the crap out of them.
