Random 'Two Cents'---Frank Thomas..Winter Olympics..Johnny Damon & More

**Frank Thomas is retiring from the game of baseball. What a ballplayer the ‘Big Hurt’ was for so many years. How menacing was Frank when he stepped into the batters box? Career numbers---.301 avg/ 521 HR’s…. and no real suspicion in terms of performance enhancers. Hall of Fame bound. Great all around athlete as well. Went to Auburn on a football scholarship and was a solid tight end.
**Don’t know about you all, but I’m ordering some of the finest wings in town and popping an ice cold brewski or two as I settle in for some fine Winter Olympic curling over the course of the Winter Olympics. The only thing that gets me more jacked and pumped is if cross country skiing is on.
**My above sarcasm aside, I’m really looking forward to the hockey. So great to watch. Watered down NHL, take a seat.
**Women’s olympic figure skating = awesome. ‘Nuff said.
**Pretty shitty when you’re a pro golfer like John Daly & your NFL partner is whooping up on you in the pro-am huh? Tony Romo is 4 strokes ahead of Daly after day one at Pebble Beach.
**The Cavaliers are dominant right now. Clearly the beast of the East in the NBA. Could Shaq be rapping: “Kobe… tell me how my ass taste” once again after the Finals?
**Two years/ $26 mil? How bout 1 yr/ $4.5 mil? Could Scott Boras have bungled this deal any more for Johnny Jesus Damon? Win some & you lose some, huh fellas? Deal isn’t official yet with Atlanta---but regardless---not what Scotty and Johhny had in mind for market value.
