Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Does Well But I Know They Can Do Better

( From Sports Biz with Darren Rovell )
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, in its 46th year, proved its worth as the most valuable franchise within the portfolio.
SI said that more than seven million video streams were viewed on SI.com during yesterday's Swimsuit launch.
The record number of streams represented 185 percent growth versus last year and helped the magazine's Web site to its second highest traffic in its history.
Swimsuit fans also viewed more than 42 million pages of photos, as time spent on the site was up 162 percent over last year's totals.
Keep your nose to the grindstone fellas. Get those fists up and keep fighting the good fight. Someday you bastards over at SI will sniff the 55 million page views of Elizabeth Banks from my TCFB Femme Fatale feature yesterday. It's important that you don't get discouraged at times like these. 42 million views is nothing to snub your nose at---keep your heads up. Give Danica a call at Go Daddy and see if she can hook you guys up with the free search engine visibility package that they offer over there. You're from SI, she might hook you up for free and not make you pay the $29.99. Just throw her a bone and hook her up with a cover feature in the near future. I want those views up to 60 million next year fellas. No joke.
