Let’s keep things in perspective on Tyler Seguin (pronounced like Reagan except with an ‘S’), people. I’m hearing all of this talk about him playing wing on one of the Bruins top two lines next season, on the radio this morning. Let’s let him make the team first, ok? I fully expect that he will, but anything after that is largely unknown at this time. You can’t expect an 18 year old kid---who isn’t even fully developed physically yet--- to lace ‘em up on one of your top two lines as a rookie. I don’t care where he was drafted. If he does, great, but let’s let him get his feet wet and adapt to playing with professionals, who for the most part, have a lot more experience and who aren’t just four or five years removed from puberty.
That said, I’m psyched about this team and its future with guys like Seguin, David Krejci, Nathan Horton, Johnny Boychuk & Tuukka Rask providing a young and talented core for years to come.
