I’ve heard people over the past couple of days hoping that the Canadiens take out the Capitals in this Game 7 tonight, so the Bruins can face the banged up 7-seed Flyers in the Eastern Conference Semi’s.
Why?
Anything from this point on is icing on the cake for this Bruins team anyway. Not many people expected them to be in the Conference Semi-Finals (go ahead, lie. Say you did.) As a fan, I want them to battle ‘Sid the Kid’ & Co. as they get Marc Savard back in the fold against the team & player (Matt Cooke) that took him out of action earlier this year. I’m all about the drama and excitement at this point.
Who the hell wants to watch B’s/Flyers? Spare me.
Here's hoping that flaming toothless asshole, Ovechkin, goes off and single-handedly destroys Les Canadiens de Montreal. Go Caps!
