Daddy TCFB's Words of Wisdom: First off, a quick line of thanks to David Jack Drew for proving his TCFB Daddy status was no fluke last night. Other than that, DISGUSTING. I know it's only May, but before you know it, this team could be out of the race in 2010. Too much talent ahead of them in the division to leap frog. I'm fine with the "bridge" year disguised as a "no, we're still going for it" year once every 8-10 years due to many different circumstances (not wanting to overpay for marginal free agent talent and/or trade away big chips in the farm) but the masses will be in an uproar if this team continues on in mediocrity. Oh, and Scutaro you're lucky I gave you Daddy status. You're hitting .333 against Hammer Pants but you don't have one goddamn extra base hit.
