Daddy TCFB's Words of Wisdom: So the first night of this "Stick it up Daddy TCFB's ass" West Coast Swing, was a success. Let me be clear, this pitching staff rivals any in baseball. It is tremendous, and with Beckett & Buchholz coming back, pitching won't be an issue. That's not really why I think this team isn't going to make the playoffs. It's the offense. When Pedroia comes back will he be 100%? No. Will he be 90%? Probably not. Does Beltre continue to swing a hot stick? Can V-Mart come back and be effective? And the key is, can they get back and be effective before the deficit becomes too much to come back from? The Yankees will continue to beat up teams in the regular season at least, with that softball team of a lineup & Tampa, in my opinion, is as good as any team (all around) in baseball. Not an easy road for the Olde Town Team.
