The Sacramento Kings ended the NBA's longest road losing streak at 43 games. (1991)

A crowd of 87,555 people watched the Texas Longhorns beat the Texas A&M Aggies 21-7. The crowd was the largest to see a football game in Texas. (2001)

1938 - Oscar Robertson, NBA guard (Cin, Milwaukee, Olympic-gold-1960). Once 'averaged' a triple double for the whole NBA season. Remarkable feat.


1980 - Jonathan Papelbon, Red Sox closer... What are the odds Paps is throwing his own party down in Mississippi later on tonight? I wonder if his neighbor Brett Favre can get back in time. Someone like Paps is probably having a dwarf tossing party. If you don't know about dwarf tossing parties, trust me, they exist. Google it.

I know this hurts you, and I'm sorry, but my son is a Clemson graduate, and Clemson is going to the ACC title game this year, not Boston College. I hope you'll watch.
