The best part of having your NCAA brackets shit the bed is that you then can root for the ‘dogs in these upcoming late round games. It’s great.
At precisely 9:57 pm EST I will attempt to keep my eyes open for as long as possible to watch those ‘smaht kids’ from Cornell attempt to upset Coach Cal’s Kentucky Wildcats.
Can this happen?
Probably not. Cornell will have to shoot lights out from 3-pt. land to even stand a chance. They will get murdered on the boards to begin with, but if they’re cold from long distance, I’ll be able to safely turn off the set by 10:30 or so and get my beauty sleep.
Quite amazingly, my ole man has Cornell beating Kentucky in his brackets. He has reminded me ever since their first victory of the tournament. Since the rest of his bracket looks like Bobby Flay doused it with lighter fluid, threw it in his grill and lit a match, this would be a moral victory for Ole Man Hanf.
Go get one for Gipper Hanf, you pack of Cornell smart asses. He’s a little under the weather with a cold, it’ll lift his spirits!
