We are about to find out whether sex matters in the World Cup. Last week it was reported that officials from Argentina have told their players that sex will be allowed during the weeks of competition. The English are going to be a little more reserved.
The Daily Star is reporting that, not only have wives and girlfriends (here courtesy of worldcupwags.com is a who's who) been banned, but England's coach Fabio Capello said he will spying on his players in South Africa through televisions in their hotel rooms.
Capello called the wives and girlfriends a "virus" and will allow players to see their companions once a week. There will be no overnight stays and players will be disciplined for violating the rule.
I stopped down the TCFB Pub last night and chit-chatted with my man Smitty about this…..
Chuck: Hey, you ole fossil you, it’s been a while.
Smitty: Yeah, well you’re too cool for school now kid. Don’t even have time to stop in your own bar and shoot the shit with us anymore apparently.
Chuck: You’re so full of shit, you know that’s not true.
Smitty: Honestly kid, I don’t care if you’re here or not, your beer is still cold and your women are always hot, teeth or no teeth. Smitty ain’t complainin’.
Chuck: Whatever, you dirty bag. Anyway, did you give Willie any shit about his English soccer hooligans not being allowed any nookie over at the World Cup? [Hey Sully, grab him another of whatever he’s drinking]
Smitty:[Thanks kid] Come on, you know me! I was all over his sorry ass last night about it. You believe this effin fraud, Fabio, or whatever the coach’s name is over there in England? What’s he gonna do? Spy on their sorry English asses and throw an effin red card in the room if he sees any riding of the pony? "Penalty you little English bitch, now give Daddy Fabio your girl and go play in traffic til I’m done. I’ll finish this up. Believe that!"
Chuck: hahaha..Where do you come up with this shit, my friend? So you’re saying the coach of Argentina got it right then by allowing some sexual horseplay in between matches, huh?
Smitty: Of course. Think about it, what do you think those English hooligans are gonna be doing anyway when the sex is off the table? Flogging the Dolphin, kid. All day and night. Does he think that won’t make ‘em tired? Just let them have a little female companionship. Shit.
Chuck: Christ, guy.....haha.....You need a ride over to your girlfriend’s house, you old tool?
Smitty: Nah, I’ll hang out here a little longer. She dumped me anyway. Another story for another time, young Chuckie.
Chuck: OK…Sorry to hear that…Goodnight.
Smitty: Take it slow kid. Tell the wife I said hello.
